Looking for the best brunch in Saas-Fee? Although Saas-Fee is a small Alpine village, there are a few lovely places to grab breakfast, enjoy a good coffee or have a slow morning before heading into the mountains.
Whether you’re looking for a more luxurious breakfast experience or simply want a cosy café with good coffee and something tasty to eat, these are two of my favourite spots for brunch and breakfast in Saas-Fee.

1. The Capra Saas-Fee
For a more luxurious breakfast or brunch experience, The Capra Saas-Fee is one of the nicest options in the village.
This beautiful boutique hotel combines a cosy Alpine atmosphere with elegant interiors, high-quality food and mountain views. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time and enjoy a proper breakfast rather than simply grabbing something quickly before heading out.
Their breakfast focuses on fresh, local ingredients and includes freshly prepared drinks, pastries and a selection of breakfast dishes.
I would especially recommend The Capra if you’re looking for something a little more special during your stay. After spending a few days hiking or skiing in the mountains, having a slow and relaxed morning here feels like a nice change of pace.
You don’t necessarily need to be staying at the hotel to consider it for breakfast, but it’s worth checking availability and whether they are accepting outside guests when you visit.
It’s definitely more of a special-occasion option than a budget breakfast, but if you’re looking for a luxurious start to your day in Saas-Fee, this is a beautiful choice.
Best for:
A luxury breakfast
Mountain views
A slow morning
A special occasion
2. 12-inch Coffee
If you’re looking for something more casual, head to 12-inch Coffee.
Located in the heart of Saas-Fee, this cosy café and vinyl bar has a completely different atmosphere from The Capra.
12-inch Coffee serves specialty coffee, French breakfast croissants, bagels, cakes and small snacks, making it a great place to stop for breakfast, brunch or simply a coffee during your day.
What makes this place particularly fun is the atmosphere. It’s not just another café where you grab a takeaway coffee. Music plays from their vinyl collection, giving the place a really cosy and unique feel.
It’s also a great spot to visit after skiing when you just want to warm up with a good coffee and something sweet.
If you’re not looking for a full sit-down brunch and would rather have a good coffee, croissant or bagel in a relaxed setting, this would be my pick.
Best for:
Specialty coffee
Croissants and breakfast
A unique atmosphere
A casual mountain café stop

The Best Brunch In Saas-Fee: Which One Should You Choose?
Both places are lovely, but they offer quite different experiences.
If you’re looking for luxury and a slower breakfast, I’d choose The Capra. It’s ideal if you want to make breakfast part of the experience rather than just something you eat before starting your day.
If you prefer something casual, cosy and relaxed, I’d go for 12-inch Coffee. It’s especially nice for coffee lovers and makes a great stop after skiing or exploring the village.
My Favourite Brunch Spots In Saas-Fee
Saas-Fee may not have endless brunch cafés like a big city, but I actually think that’s part of its charm. You’re not coming here for a huge food scene, you’re coming for the mountains, cosy Alpine atmosphere and slow mornings.
And honestly, there is something pretty nice about starting your day with a good coffee and breakfast before heading out into the mountains.
For a special breakfast, choose The Capra.
For a casual coffee and brunch, choose 12-inch Coffee.
Both are worth adding to your Saas-Fee itinerary if you enjoy good food and cosy cafés while travelling.
