I’ve always loved poems.
There’s something about putting a feeling into just a few words that I’ve always found beautiful. Sometimes you can spend pages trying to explain how you feel, and then somehow a few simple lines say everything.
My Travel Poems are about more than just travelling. They’re about everything that comes with it: wanting to see the world, missing home, growing up, falling in love, feeling lost, wanting freedom and sometimes having absolutely no idea what you’re doing with your life.
Because travelling isn’t just about the places you go. Sometimes it changes the way you look at yourself, too.
I write these poems as a way of making sense of the thoughts and feelings that are harder to put into words otherwise. Some are inspired by travelling, some by life in my twenties, and some are simply thoughts I needed to get out of my head.
So grab a coffee, take your time and have a read.
Maybe one of these poems will put into words something you’ve been feeling too.
