Italy has slowly become one of those places I keep returning to, which is why these Italy travel guides have become such a big part of my travels.
What started as a road trip at 16 with my dad and best friend past Venice, Pisa, and Florence eventually turned into years of returning to different parts of the country again and again.
Since then, I’ve been back multiple times. I visited Rome twice, once with my family and once with a friend, and experienced the city in completely different ways each time.
In 2025, I spent 10 days exploring Sicily with my cousin before backpacking solo through Northern Italy for a month. Along the way, I explored cities like Turin, Milan, Lake Como, Verona, Florence, Venice, and even spent a solo week in Genoa reconnecting with friends from previous travels and meeting new people along the way.
Then in 2026, I returned once more to visit Lake Maggiore and Milan again.
For me, Italy is a mix of chaotic cities, slow coastal moments, train rides, spontaneous friendships, endless pasta dinners, and places that somehow feel familiar even when they’re completely new.

Final note
Italy keeps becoming a place I return to between bigger adventures. Every trip feels completely different, yet somehow familiar at the same time, and that’s exactly why I keep going back.
