About

My Travel Journey

Over the years, I’ve traveled solo across Australia for nine months. I’ve also backpacked through Indonesia, island-hopped in Greece, and explored Italy, including Sicily.

Along the way, I discovered other parts of Europe too, such as Spain, Portugal, France, and The Netherlands.

In Australia, however, I didn’t just travel, I worked as well. For example, I was a sous-chef, cleaned houses, and took on all kinds of jobs to keep going.

Who I Am

Hi, I’m Saar, 24, and I’ve had a serious case of wanderlust for as long as I can remember.

Lifeassaar travel blog is where I share my journey, stories, and reflections from around the world.

For me, travel has never just been about places. Instead, it’s about people, cultures, and stepping into something new.

I studied diversity and human sciences, and because of that, I’ve always been fascinated by how people live, think, love, struggle, and connect.

That curiosity still runs through everything I do on this lifeassaar travel blog.

Life Beyond Travel

Back home, I often babysit and help in elderly care. Because of this, I move easily between different worlds.

As a result, I’ve become versatile, curious, and not afraid to start from scratch.

Most of the time, I stay in hostels, since I prefer traveling creatively and affordably. While on the road, I chase local hidden gems, street food, conversations with strangers, and quiet sunset moments that make everything feel bigger.

Why I Started Lifeassaar

Writing has always helped me make sense of it all. Not only do I write poems, but I also keep detailed journals and collect the small, meaningful moments of life.

When I read back through my travel diaries, I realized something. I didn’t just want to remember these stories, I wanted to share them.

That’s how lifeassaar was born.
