Flanders isn’t just a region I explore, it’s where my story began.
I’m originally from Leuven, studied three years in Brussels, and lived two years in Ghent, so this part of Belgium shaped a big part of who I am. Even when I lived abroad in Madrid, I kept meeting other Belgians, which made me realize how connected this small country really is.
Because of that, and my social nature, I feel like I know people almost everywhere, and I’m still discovering new places all the time. From hidden cafés to new neighborhoods, it feels like I explore a new corner of Flanders almost every week.
On this page, you’ll find my travel guides to the cities I know best, including Leuven and Ghent, where I actually lived. Expect personal tips, local spots, and real experiences beyond the typical travel guides.
