Hi, I’m Saar, 24, and I’ve had a serious case of wanderlust for as long as I can remember.

I’ve spent nine months traveling across Australia on my own, followed by a month in Indonesia, also solo and backpacking. When I returned, I went island hopping in Greece for three weeks and spent another three weeks exploring Italy, including Sicily. Most of the time I stayed in hostels, but I also found creative ways to travel cheaply while maximizing fun.

I love writing — I regularly pen poems, keep journals, and have always been fascinated by the little juicy moments of life. Reading back through my own journals made me want to share these experiences with others. And voilà — lifeassaar was born: a place for travel diaries, chaos, romance, and honest tips from the road.
